Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's burgeoning reputation in Ligue 1 was further bolstered with Borussia Dortmund when he arrived at the Signal Iduna Park in 2013 from Saint-Etienne.

He largely operated from out wide in his first season to accommodate Robert Lewandowski, but once the Pole left for Bayern Munich, he occupied more central role and struck left, right and centre.

In all, the Gabonese ace netted 141 times from 213 appearances in his four-and-a-half year spell with Dortmund, winning three trophies, a Golden Boot, and also the Bundesliga Player of the Year prize.

Arsenal secured his services on deadline day in January transfer window of 2018, splurging for his signatures and Aubameyang has been bang for the buck, scoring 61 times in all competitions from 97 games.
