Dimitri Payet has been a revalation in the footballing world over the past year. At 29 years old, you could argue that he's a late find at the top level but as they say: better late than never!

Signed by West Ham for around £10.7million after a cracking season at Marseille, Payet wasted no time lighting up the Premier League, getting shortlisted for the PFA Players' Player Of The Year award despite spending two months out injured. He also finished as the joint top West Ham goalscorer, topping their assists chart.

Evidently, Payet can score and create. He also has fantastic dribbling ability and isn't averse to scoring a stunning free-kick or two. He's an almost complete attacking player and after an impressive Euro 2016, it's really a surprise that a bigger club didn't pick him up.

Still, Payet will be looking to build on the success of his last two seasons with West Ham again this year, and is one of the few players retaining credibility despite their terrible start. If anybody can turn their fortunes around, it's Dimitri Payet.
