10 Biggest Radge Packets Ever To Play For Newcastle

10. Mathieu Debuchy

The classy French full-back will be forever remembered by Newcastle fans as something of a gentleman thug, brilliantly technical, fully capable of playing lovely football, but always about three minutes away from some sort of brutality that might see him red carded. He wasn't exactly the angriest player Newcastle have ever signed, nor the most physically imposing, but his currency seemed to be how hard, and how spectacularly he could go through attacking players of all sizes and reputations. Sadly, like all good rage packets, Debuchy's barometer was often quite far off, and he was sent off twice in his short time on Tyneside, including for one ridiculous two footed effort against Liverpool. But it was his calm surface that really sold his mental state: he had the glassy calm of Hannibal Lecter to make his violence all the more unexpected.
