Probably unknown outside of hardcore MMA fan circles, Nicolau trains with one of the best camps in the world, the famous Nova União. Training with the likes of José Aldo and Renan Barao, this young Brazlian has an exciting future ahead of him. Already a veteran of the Brazilian regional scene, known as one of the toughest fight scenes in the world, he already has 13 fights at 23 years old. His UFC debut came in 2015 when he beat undefeated prospect Bruno Rodrigues with a Peruvian Necktie, which is a submission rarely seen in MMA and although this young Brazilian does not have fans shouting his name from the rooftops as of yet, I truly believe Nicolau will become a staple in the growing Bantamweight division.
