There was no love lost in this one. The two met for the first time back in 2014 with Rockhold winning via guillotine in the second round. Afterwards, a war of words ensued between the two of them, and fans were eagerly awaiting a rematch, which they got at UFC 199.

Rockhold was originally scheduled to fight former champ Chris Weidman but Weidman pulled out due to injury less than two weeks before the bout. Bisping had been filming xXx: Return of Xander Cage for a month prior but when he received the phone call on 17 days notice, he instantly accepted and got the title fight he had been waiting for for over a decade.

Bisping piled the pressure on early, moving well and landing clean. It took just over three minutes before he landed a huge left hand that shook Rockhold. He then landed another seconds later before Big John McCarthy stepped in and Bisping secured the belt.
