10 Boxing Fights That Need To Be Made

8. Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVYvajO12h8 Stick together two young, brash, big punching, undefeated heavyweights and you are in for an explosive affair, in and out of the ring. Indeed, you could probably sell tickets just for the press conferences for a potential fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Both guys have great personalities and can certainly talk. Wilder's post fight interviews are crowd engaging and he also likes to randomly shout out "BOMB SQUAD!" in reference to his fans due to his alias 'The Bronze Bomber'. Fury took things to a new level after his last fight, he broke into a song following his knockout of Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden last April. Boxing wise, both these giants can bang, but also have suspect chins. Wilder (6' 7'') has knocked out all 30 of his opponents, whilst Fury (6' 9'') has stopped 15 of his 21 opponents. You'll get good odds on this fight going the twelve round distance. Add in the Great Britain (Fury) vs. USA (Wilder) factor, and it could be one hell of an event. There is a rich history of cross-Atlantic heavyweight battles, such as Ali vs. Cooper, Holyfield vs. Lewis, Bruno vs. Tyson and many more. In the meantime, Fury has a 'keep busy' fight on February 15 against Joey Abell before a proposed summer rematch with Dereck Chisora. Wilder, meanwhile, is set to take on Malik Scott in March.
