10 Candidates For The PFA Young Player Of The Year Award

1. Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is clearly a player with the world at his feet. Described as the outstanding talent in Europe right now, Hazard's combination of pace, flair and vision have seen his draw comparisons with Lionel Messi and Ronaldo. Seen as a future Ballon D'or winner, Hazard has flourished under the guidance of Jose Mourinho who stated that turning Hazard into the best player in the world as one of his targets. 12 goals and several man €“of-the-match performances this season has shown that Hazard truly is one of the top talents in European football and will only continue to improve over time. Verdict The main competition that Hazard will face for this award is Daniel Sturridge and when looking at the previous winners, it suggests that British players are favoured. However, the perormances of Hazard this season make him odds on favourite to win this award and could lead to him becoming one of only three players to win the Players Player Of The Year Award in the same season.
