10 Craziest Boxing Press Conferences

1. David Haye Vs. Derek Chisora

Six months after suffering a lopsided defeat to Wladimir Klitschko - which he blamed on a broken toe - David Haye decided to pursue a match against the eldest Klitschko brother, Vitali. In Feb 2012, at the post match press conference of Vitali Klitschko Vs. Derek Chisora, Haye began to call out Vitali, alleging the Ukrainian wouldn't fight him. Chisora - not one to be left out - ridiculed Haye over his broken toe excuse and invited his fellow Londoner to face him instead.

After Haye dismissed the notion, highlighting that Chisora was on a three fight losing streak, Chisora grabbed a mic and approached Haye, in a move that backfired spectacularly. As the two came face to face, Haye displayed his impressive speed by dropping Chisora with a left-right combo before turning his attention to Chisora's trainer (Don Charles) who attacked Haye in retaliation.

During the fracas, Haye's trainer (Adam Booth) suffered a huge gash on the head and can be seen during the footage questioning Chisora over who caused the injury - not realising at the time that Haye had accidentally clouted him as he swung a camera tripod, trying to hit Chisora - whoops.
