Craig Bellamy was one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League for over a decade, enjoying consistent success in a career that saw him turn out for nine different teams, despite being hampered by injuries.

However, while Bellamy's status as a nomad demonstrates how in-demand the former Wales captain was during his career, it belies just how disruptive he could be behind the scenes, with a penchant for getting into disputes with his teammates just about everywhere he went including a particularly infamous incident with a golf club.

This was also exemplified during his four-year stint at Newcastle United. After clashing with boss Graeme Souness, Bellamy reportedly refused to play in midfield. A public bust-up with the boss followed, and a dispute with Newcastle legend Alan Shearer did little to get him in the club's good graces before he was sent out on loan to Celtic for the remainder of the 2004/05 season.
