If this list was compiled solely based on how players look on the pitch, Gabriel Batistuta would never have even been considered for selection. The Argentinian forward was extremely passionate in the way he played and was never afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve on the football field.

However, despite earning legendary status at Florentina as one of the most consistent goalscorers in the club's history, Batistuta was not exactly in love with the game, considering it merely a profession that he just happened to be incredible at.

Though many of his contemporaries on this list have found love in the sport of golf, Batistuta has always marched to the beat of his own drum and instead took up polo after retiring in 2005, later remarking about just how much he enjoys his his horse-drawn hobby.
