10 Footballers You Won't Believe Have A Premier League Winners Medal
5. Tom Cleverley
Few Manchester United players over the last decade or two have split the opinion of fans quite like Tom Cleverley.
The midfielder, for a long period of his Old Trafford career, was often vilified as someone who simply didn't have the ability or presence to be a capable player for the Manchester giants.
To an extent, some of those opinions weren't too far off the mark, given Cleverley spent seven seasons with United, and somehow managed to get his hands on only one Premier League title.
Cleverley has a massive thanks to give for his title as well to both Sir Alex Ferguson and Robin Van Persie after Ferguson saw fit to snap up the Arsenal man in the summer of 2012.
The Dutchman smashed in 26 goals as United wrestled back the title from their rivals, Manchester City, in Ferguson's last season in charge.
Cleverley played his part throughout the season to get his hands on a winners medal at last and has since gone on to carve out a decent Premier League career with both Everton and Watford.
