10 Former Players Bolton Wanderers Could Do With Now
10. Lukas Jutkiewicz
It seems strange to suggest that a team struggling for goals signing a striker who is suffering from the same ailment. The salient facts are these, however - Lukas Jutkiewicz looks out of his depth at Premier League level, but has proven that he knows where the net is in the second tier of English football. Having spent the second half of last season on loan at the Reebok Stadium from Middlesbrough, he duly notched seven goals in 20 appearances and quickly cemented himself as something of a fans favourite. Since switching to newly-promoted Burnley in the summer, he has found life in the top-flight extremely tough, registering among those with the most shots without scoring so far this term. He has featured in each of Burnleys 12 Premier League fixtures and has looked thoroughly out of depth on each occasion. Whether it will be sinking with the inevitably doomed ship of Burnley in May, or flogged to some Championship promotion hopeful when the club tire of his profligacy, the 25 year old will surely be back in the second tier of English football before too long. With Bolton lacking any real quality up front, they could certainly do with the same injection of goals that he offered them earlier this year.
