9. Stadio Della Roma

Italian giants Roma have set out on completing their ambitious plans, with the design based on a collosseum. Currently titled 'Stadio della Roma' the arena is set to hold an impressive 52,500 seats for when Roma play their home games, but can increase to 60,000 for larger international events.

The Serie A club's American owner James Palotta has high hopes for the side and wants them to become one of the biggest in the world. His plans for the new stadium will give them the platform in which to push on and they are looking at moving into their new residency in 2018, leaving behind their current home - the ageing Stadio Olimpico.
