7. Nou Mestalla
It's a name that isn't likely have taken too long to think of. Although work has halted on Valencia's new home, they are still expected to leave Estadio Mestalla in the near future and move into their new 61,500-seater. With the projected first drawn up 10 years ago, construction of a stadium with a 74,000 capacity began in August 2007, but with Gary Neville's club lacking in funds, they have had to rethink their plans on several occasions, including dropping the possible viewing figures. Partially built at the moment, tragedy struck in 2008, when four construction workers lost their lives following the collapse of scaffolding on site. Currently waiting for the go ahead to recommence their production, the stadium's most characteristic feature will be it's overlapping aluminium exterior that are said to represent Valencia's districts and the river Turia.
