3. CSKA Moscow Stadium
The new stadium for the Russian club has been under construction since 2007, but, like so many others on this list, work was halted due to legal and financial issues. However, work is expected to be completed on the capital's multi-use stadium this year, providing the club with a new 30,000-seater home. The stand-out feature is set to be a skyscraper in one of the corners to represent the UEFA Cup CSKA won in 2005 when they defeated Sporting CP 3-1 in Lisbon. Once completed, it will provide a long-term base for the club who have found themselves moving around various venues in the city without ever settling in their history.
