10. 1 - Point Newcastle Have Collected From Their Last 30 Available
The Magpies may have stopped the rot two weekends ago by ending a run of eight-successive defeats - with Ayoze Perez's strike securing a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion at St James' Park - but it shouldn't be forgotten that they still haven't actually won a game since February 28th, and that they then embarrassingly capitulated during the second-half at Queens Park Rangers. Leading 1-0 after Emmanuel Riviere's first-half strike, Newcastle wilted in the second-half "sun" - John Carver complained about the "difficult conditions", even though it was 17 degrees... - and ultimately lost 2-1. Just one point from a possible 30 makes for pitiful reading - and that's why Newcastle have been dragged into the relegation dogfight when they should have been all-but safe two-and-a-half months ago.
