From Wayne Rooney's point of view, there are few sides he would rather be facing this weekend that Newcastle United though. Aside from Aston Villa (15 goals) and Arsenal (13 goals), Rooney has scored his greatest number of Premier League goals against the Magpies - 12 in all. Interestingly though, before his brace in the Red Devils' 3-1 victory over Newcastle last Boxing Day, Rooney had failed to find the back of the net against the Magpies since before NUFC were relegated at the end of the 2008-09 campaign.
