Last season, the number of players who got injured at Spurs was nothing short of ridiculous. Younes Kaboul, Jan Vertonghen, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Sandro, Etienne Capoue, Andros Townsend and Erik Lamela were amongst those who spent a fair amount of time on the sidelines and, as a result, Spurs' season was obviously hampered. Mauricio Pochettino's coaching method seem to involve working a lot harder on fitness than previous Spurs bosses and, hopefully, this will help to reduce the injury rate at the club. Having a fully fit squad to choose from is extremely important and the closer Spurs can be all season to actually having that be the case, the better they will fare on all fronts during this campaign.
