10 Last Minute Football Transfers That Could Still Go Down Before The Deadline Day

9. Tiemoue Bakayoko To PSG

After emerging as one of Europe's hottest prospects following that legendary Monaco side's run to the Ligue 1 championship and a Champions League semi-final, Tiemoue Bakayoko was signed by Antonio Conte's Chelsea for a huge £40 million.

However, it's safe to say things have not gone as planned for the French international since then. £40 million is a tough transfer fee for any 23 year old player to justify, and there's been this sense that Bakayoko is just a player that no Chelsea manager has trusted enough to keep around.

His two loan moves to AC Milan and Monaco over the past two seasons have hardly reignited his career. However, there seems to be a way out on the cards for Bakayoko.

Unlike the likes of Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel's PSG side know the ins and outs of Bakayoko's game and could make for the ideal side for someone with his traits. Still only 26 years of age, the Frenchman would be a more youthful option for Tuchel than the likes of Angel di Maria and Idrissa Gueye, and PSG's habit of just winning every match they play in their division will certainly help Bakayoko play with a bit more freedom than what he had at his previous clubs.
