10 Legends You Won't Believe Are Out Of Contract Next Summer

6. Emmanuel Adebayor

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been one of the best strikers in Europe when looking at his very consistent record down the years. The Togolese international has played for a host of clubs in his career (FC Metz, AS Monaco, Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Tottenham) scoring more than 170 goals in over 470 games. The 30-year-old has been in and out of the Spurs first-team, but is currently their chief threat in attack. He scored 11 goals in 21 league games last season, and will be eyed up by a number of clubs in January on a pre-contract deal if Tottenham haven€™t sorted out his contract by then. He boasts a good goal rate with every club he€™s been at, so for potentially a free transfer this summer, what club wouldn€™t want a striker like Emmanuel Adebayor if he can be kept happy and fit?
