5. Thales Leites Has Upped His Stock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWXFW0dbWF8 He once fought for Anderson Silva's middleweight championship - and no one really felt he should have been in there with The Spider. He was cut by the UFC soon after, but has earned his way back into the promotion, and was on a six fight win streak heading into the bout. Not many pundits gave Leites much of a chance in this fight (though WhatCulture did, in an otherwise rough outing for our predictions feature), so the fact that he scored a KO victory over a fighter who was once considered a title challenger really helps out Leites' stock. With four straight UFC wins to his name, it no longer seems such a travesty that Leites was in the cage with Silva. Sure, he'd still likely get killed by the Spider - but he's proven to be a more resilient fight than we thought.
