5. Thales Leites Has Upped His Stock

He was cut by the UFC soon after, but has earned his way back into the promotion, and was on a six fight win streak heading into the bout. Not many pundits gave Leites much of a chance in this fight (though WhatCulture did, in an otherwise rough outing for our predictions feature), so the fact that he scored a KO victory over a fighter who was once considered a title challenger really helps out Leites' stock. With four straight UFC wins to his name, it no longer seems such a travesty that Leites was in the cage with Silva. Sure, he'd still likely get killed by the Spider - but he's proven to be a more resilient fight than we thought.
