10 Major Issues Individual Spurs Players Need To Improve

9. Aaron Lennon (Crossing)

As a winger, a vital end product to your runs is the ability to deliver decent crosses in to the opposition's box - something Tottenham's Aaron Lennon distinctly lacks. Lennon has been something of a disappointment in general at Spurs really. He's had his moments and is undoubtedly very talented - and a great impact substitute on any given occasion, when opposition legs are starting to struggle - but he has never really improved from when he was a youngster and, given that he's only going to lose his pace as he gets closer to his thirties, he really needs to develop other areas of his game. He still has the pace to beat people now, but his crossing is awful. Once he loses his pace, he's going to be relatively useless as he will offer nothing. He would undoubtedly have been a much more prominent player for both club and country if he could cross - and now might be a good time to really start focusing on being better at it.
