10 Man Utd Players Who Should Fear For Their Future

7. Jonny Evans

Jonny Evans hasn€™t played for Manchester United since the 30th minute of the nightmarish 5-3 collapse at Leicester City in September due to a series of injuries. Injuries have always been a symptom of the Northern Irish captain€™s time at Old Trafford, and it would appear that his time at the club could be coming to an end. With Phil Jones approaching full fitness, Marcos Rojo back in six weeks, and van Gaal rumoured to be in the market for at least one other centre-half, Evans seems to have a fight on his hands. If he continues his trend of missing chunks of the season due to injury, he could very easily be deemed disposable by the boss and tossed to the wayside. While the club only conceded one league goal during his 210 minutes on the pitch this season, it was in the Capital One Cup where his frailties where exposed, as he was embarrassed by the MK Dons frontline. If Evans believes in bad omens, he might want to turn away now - only he and David de Gea were the lone survivors from that starting line-up that would begin another game this season.
