When a team with big players fails to achieve any kind of notable success, those players start to attract the attentions of bigger clubs. The likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United have been drawn to Spurs in recent years like sharks circling their prey, as Michael Carrick, Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale have all moved onto bigger things after shining in a comparatively poor Spurs side. The same will happen with the likes of Hugo Lloris and Christian Eriksen if Spurs don't improve soon.
