10 Miracles Spurs Need To Save Their Season

4. They Settle On A Formation

4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 - Spurs have tried them all this season and they are yet to decide which is best for the team. One thing is for sure though - they simply don't have a single striker who is capable of playing up front on his own, yet 4-2-3-1 is indeed one of the formations they regularly utilise. Of course, the major issue with regards to finding the right formation is the aforementioned problem about the best eleven. Once Spurs have decided who is performing best and in which positions they thrive, they can then settle on a formation. At this moment in time, not knowing which players are going to produce or which formation to play are severely hampering Spurs' ability to perform to their best standard.
