With no new striker signing this summer, Spurs will currently be looking to their existing strikers to supply the goals - and last season's top scorer Emmanuel Adebayor (eleven league goals and fourteen in all competitions) will certainly be one of those considered to be responsible for supplying them. The Togo international is completely unplayable on his day, showing strength, good feet, great aerial ability and, most importantly, great finishing ability - but "his day" really depends on his mood. Adebayor relies on being nurtured and motivated - with Tim Sherwood, despite his flaws, apparently having done a good job of doing exactly that - so it will be down to Mauricio Pochettino to do the same. If Spurs can get their strikers firing - with Adebayor being one of only three senior strikers at the club - the former Arsenal and Manchester City man could help to fire them to glory.
