10 Most Legendary Old Firm European Nights

3. Celtic 2-1 Barcelona (November 2012)

One of the all-time great upsets in Champions League history came just three years ago at Celtic Park. All conquering Barcelona came to town and brought an incredible atmosphere that is as memorable as the result. Celtic found themselves needing a result in a tricky group with the Catalan giants, former European Champions Benfica and Spartak Moscow. Victor Wanyama rose majestically to put the Celts in front, before a virtuoso display of goalkeeping from the massive Fraser Forster in the Celtic goal. An equaliser seemed inevitable until 18 year old Tony Watt (who had only recently joined the club from Airdrie United) raced through and put the game to bed. It was an incredible moment barely soured by Lionel Messi€™s late consolation goal.
