In an earlier entry, it was noted that Rangers managed to stop Celtic from winning the League Championship Title at Ibrox Stadium in 2012. Way back in 1999, Celtic couldn't stop a rampant Rangers from doing the same at Celtic Park, and the result was one of the most hostile environments for an Old Firm game ever. Shamefully, a section of the Celtic support threatened to overshadow the occasion by pelting referee Hugh Dallas with coins, and even storming the pitch on more than one occasion. The whole thing was getting out of hand, but what shouldn't be forgotten is that Rangers were quite marvellous during the actual game, running out 3-0 winners and leaving Celtic in their dust. Make no mistake about it, Celtic had a decent team during this period, but the Gers were simply too strong, and this one has to remain one of the most memorable victories for Glasgow Rangers over their major rivals ever. The icing on the cake was being able to parade the fact that Rangers had won the title, on enemy turf no less. For any Rangers fan, this was a mind-blowing day.
