10 Newcastle Stars Who Will Leave If They Are Relegated

The season isn't even over yet - but these 10 NUFC players will already be looking for the door.

There have been some dark periods in Newcastle United's recent history, and the 2014-15 season could still yet prove to be the blackest of them all should the Magpies be relegated on the final day of the campaign for the second time in seven years. Nine defeats out of their last 10, winless since February 28th, and stuck down in 17th position in the Premier League table, just one place and two points ahead of Hull City - the second-half to the Magpies' season has been truly abysmal. Newcastle's players have simply not been good enough - and some already appear to be looking for life elsewhere next season. One of Hull, Sunderland or Newcastle will fall through the Premier League trapdoor on Sunday afternoon and join already-relegated Queens Park Rangers and Burnley in the Championship next season, and as of yet it is unclear who that will be. The Magpies certainly look extremely susceptible, however. They look incapable of winning a football match, especially not against their former boss Sam Allardyce who has a point to prove when he brings his West Ham United side to St James' Park. A large proportion of the Newcastle players have lost interest - and they will likely leave even if the Magpies stay up, but some will almost inevitably depart should the club be relegated. What's certain is, that if Newcastle United do drop out of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, then these 10 first-team players will be tripping over themselves trying to be the first to reach the exit door...
