With the second overall pick of the 2012 draft, the Washington Redskins selected quarterback Robert Griffin III (or RGIII for short). To acquire Griffin, the Redskins had to practically give their short term future away to the St. Louis Rams, in order to obtain their number two position on the draft board. Of course, the Rams accepted. They knew straight up how much the Redskins were balled over by RGIII and in return they acquired six (thats right 6) draft picks from the ‘Skins.

Since that day in April, Griffin has only managed to complete one full season for the Redskins. In his three seasons as their starting the quarterback, he’s managed to play in 37 games out of a possible 48, managing to win only 14. He’s only played in a single playoff game during his rookie year, which ended with him being carted with a busted knee (which he's seemingly never recovered from). Giving away 6 picks for a potential franchise guy should result in more than 14 wins and one playoff appearance. Those numbers just don’t compute.

To add insult to injury (excuse the pun), Griffin in particular hates playing the Rams. Why you ask? Well, they always make sure he remembers exactly what his team gave up to insure his services. Before last seasons meeting, the Rams announced their six captains for the game which just happened to be the six players they acquired with the draft picks obtained in the 2012 Robert Griffin III trade. Ouch.

It didn’t end there: the Rams won, 24-0.
