10 NFL Rookies Who Could Set The League On Fire
7. T.J. Watt
When your older brother is a three time Defensive Player of the Year and the heir apparent of Reggie White, you will face some pretty steep expectations. So it goes for T.J. Watt, the younger brother of real life Thor J.J. Watt. While it's asking a hell of a lot for Watt to be an All-Universe player like his older brother, he could become a real difference maker for a team that prides itself on the strength of its front seven.
Luckily, T.J. Watt opened the season with a historic start, registering 2 sacks and pulling down an interception in his debut. Although that was against the lowly Browns, if he can continue a semblance of that production, he could be the Steelers' best pass rusher by the end of the season. He has leeway to learn and grow, too: the Steelers were in the top ten in both run and pass defense last season, giving Watt an experienced, talented group of defenders to work with.
Expecting T.J. Watt to live up to his brother may be a Herculean task, but he has more than enough talent to become his own kind of monster in the NFL.
