10 NUFC Players Who Are A "Soft Touch"

4. Mike Williamson

John Carver took the unprecedented move of accusing Mike Williamson of getting himself "deliberately" sent off for Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium - stating that maybe the centre-back thought it was an "easy way out". Williamson will be unavailable for the West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers matches - and it appears unlikely that Carver will ever select the centre-back again, even despite the club's defensive crisis. Carver was certainly referring to Williamson as a "soft touch" - not only because of his stupid second yellow card, but also because he was easily bullied by the Leicester defence for the entire match. In fact, Carver also revealed he had some "choice words" for Williamson at half-time - proving the defender was one of the ones the head coach was referring to.
