We've spoken about James Tarkowski, but let's not forget about his defensive partner, Ben Mee. In fact, plenty of Burnley fans will tell you that Tarkowski has had such a good season because of the often-overlooked work of the 28-year-old Manchester City academy graduate playing beside him.

Mee played for England at youth level but has yet to win a senior cap. Despite his lack of international experience, he's proven his talents against some of the best attackers in the world throughout this Premier League season as part of one of the top flight's strongest defences.

Hugely effective in the air and rock solid at the back, Mee is a highly accomplished central defender and it's clear that without him, Burnley surely wouldn't have enjoyed such a successful season. Gareth Southgate has a lot of players to choose from in central defence, and it's likely that Mee will be ignored, but he wouldn't be unworthy of a spot on the plane to Russia.
