10 Most Passionate Players In The Premier League

1. Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez may be a controversial character, but he's also a passionate one. Yes, he has defamed himself in the past with a series of maddening actions and pouts, but on the field he is a genius who covers almost every single blade of grass. Whether he's working his socks off to chase the ball even when it is not in his possession, celebrating with vigour after scoring a goal or scowling when he doesn€™t get his way, you cannot accuse Suarez of lacking passion. His heart and determination is best summed up by Liverpool's clash with Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League last February. The Reds had lost the first leg 2-0 in Russia and the game looked to be up when Jamie Carragher dropped a clanger at Anfield to let in Hulk for a third two weeks later. But the Suarez-infused Reds rallied with the Uruguayan scoring two crucial goals either side of a Joe Allen tap-in to level the scores on aggregate at three-a-piece. The away goal meant it wasn't enough to take Liverpool through, but Suarez's performance and celebrations that day told a story of a thousand words or more. True passion.
