Current Club: Bayern Munich. He might be advancing in age, but the talismanic Dutchman proved his worth once more at the World Cup with some astonishingly effective attacking play that helped his side reach the semi-finals (even if their early goal-scoring prowess dried up in the knock-out stages). He remains the kind of player who can unlock play and be devastatingly effective in bringing other attackers into the game, though question marks over his morality will follow him as long as he's playing - since he's picked up something of a play-acting label. Regardless of where you stand on that debate, the sight of the now Bayern Munich winger in full flight is a terrifying thing, and his Holland manager Van Gaal will know exactly what he could get from the player if he were to bring him back to the Premier League. After seeing his side beat Brazil 3-0 in the World Cup third place play-off, Van Gaal apparently offered Robben a chance to move to Manchester with him, which the player apparently turned down, but the question remains whether Bayern Munich actually want him to continue next season enough to turn down Van Gaal's expected official approach.
