The 29-year-old was a lethal force putting in crosses for Wolves, with Steven Fletcher leading the line for the Midlands side. The Middlesbrough-born winger showed flashes of excellence at West Ham but has been loaned out to Norwich for this Premier League season where he's yet to make an impact. Allardyce may think he can get Jarvis back to his best after the loan ends, especially with the future of Adam Johnson uncertain once his trial begins. Jarvis may not be a new, exciting name, but if he's effective in the Allardyce system, he could be worth a punt.
