Former Spurs boss and current Queens Park Rangers coach Glenn Hoddle has recently highlighted the fact that Spurs are lacking a truly "special" player. He's quite right, as they haven't had the kind of spark that someone like Gareth Bale provided since the Welshman left, so Spurs really should be looking to bring one in - that player could be Koke. Atletico Madrid's Spanish international may be looking for a bigger club than Spurs - he has been linked to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City - but the fact that he is potentially interested in a move to the Premier League should at least be incentive enough to enquire about him. The 22 year old - full name Jorge Resurreccion Merodio - is a hard-working midfielder with skill, craft, an excellent eye for a pass and superb set-piece delivery and is currently one of the best in Spain. He would cost a bomb, but Spurs need a player like him to propel themselves to where they want to be.
