10 Players Steve McClaren Could Bring With Him To Newcastle

8. Tom Ince

Age: 23 Position: Winger/Forward Club: Hull City Nationality: English Estimated market value: £5 million (Likely To Be Available On Loan) League Appearances (Goals) 2014-15: 30 (11) International Caps: 18 (England Under-21s)
Tom Ince is likely to move for seemingly the 300th time in three years this summer - and Newcastle have held an interest in the forward in the past. Son of former Manchester United, Liverpool and England midfielder Paul Ince, the 23-year-old impressed on loan at Derby from Hull City during the latter half of the 2014-15 season. Under McClaren's tutelage, Ince contributed 11 goals in 17 games and was one of the few success stories of the Rams' disastrous end to the campaign. Since leaving Liverpool for Blackpool in 2011, the 23-year-old has been linked with just about every club in England, but McClaren is one of the few managers who has been able to get the best out of him. With 48 goals in 166 career games, Ince's strike record from wide positions is pretty reasonable - and the 18-cap England Under-21 international would give Newcastle some much-needed pace and creativity in attack. Hull's relegation also makes a Premier League move a possibility this summer.
