Norwegian international goalkeeper Frode Grodas made his name at Lillestrøm in his homeland before transferring to Chelsea in 1996 - initially on loan - whom he played for more than 50 times and won the FA Cup in 1997, keeping a clean sheet in the final against Middlesbrough. Not many people know, however, that he then moved to Spurs. He was at White Hart Lane for less than a year and didn't make a single appearance before transferring to German club Schalke before returning home to Norway to see out his career. Grodas was selected in the Norway World Cup squads in both 1994 and 1998 - though he only played in the former - and earned 50 caps for his country.
