Currently on loan at Malaga in La Liga, Mounir El Hamdaoui has come a long way since his forgotten spell at Spurs. He's actually on the books at Serie A side Fiorentina, having established himself as one of Europe's most prolific goalscorers in spells at Willem II, AZ and Ajax (all in the Netherlands, where he was born) since leaving White Hart Lane in 2006, having spent just a year at the club. He didn't actually play a single competitive game for Spurs and was loaned out to Derby County twice during his spell there. Although he was born in Rotterdam, he is a Moroccan international and has scored three international goals in sixteen appearances since making his debut in 2009.
