Former Cameroonian international Eric Djemba-Djemba was so bad they named him twice, according to the bulk of the Manchester United faithful.

Billed as a successor to the combative Roy Keane, Djemba-Djemba made his debut against Arsenal in 2003's Community Shield and marred the occasion with a horrific challenge on Sol Campbell - not a good start.

Just two goals and plenty of terrible tackles in his 18 month spell left Sir Alex, the fans and Djemba-Djemba's team mates seriously unimpressed with the midfielder and he was moved on in January 2005 at a loss.

As far as overly physical, clumsy midfielders go, Djemba-Djemba is one of the finest examples ever in the Premier League but he simply didn't fit into United's mould given the club's desire for talented players rather than useless ones.
