10 Players Who Will Rule Premier League In 2020/21

8. Diogo Jota (Wolves)

With Wolves coming in off their most successful season to date, racking up 59 points, finishing above the likes of Arsenal and making it to a Europa League quarter final, now could be the time for Diogo Jota to realise his full potential and take the reins as the side's main man.

It's clear that Nuno Espirito Santo favours a small squad and, at just 23 years old in comparison to Raul Jimenez at 29, there's every chance the Portuguese will look in house for a way of keeping the momentum going, rather than dipping into the transfer market for a replacement.

With plenty of pace and a real tendency to score more than once when he finds the net in a game, Jota hit 16 goals from his 48 appearances in all competitions during the course of the 2019-20 campaign. His average shots per ninety minutes rose from 2.17 during the 2017/18 season to 2.67 in 2019/20, with his average key passes per game also rising from 1.01 to 1.12, both of which represent a player growing out his skills and becoming a far more rounded player for the season ahead.
