An impressive spell with Real Madrid Castilla saw Fabinho being called up to the senior side in 2013 and made his professional debut towards the fag end of the season.

Despite appearing for only 17 minutes, he managed to provide an assist for Angel Di Maria in the 6-2 victory over Malaga but was never to be seen again.

The Brazilian joined Monaco on loan later that summer which actually kick-started his development, and later became an integral part of the side which wrestled the Ligue 1 title from PSG in 2017.

Fabinho's exploits soon convinced Liverpool to splash out on him and he has developed his talents further and now stands on the brink of lifting the Premier League trophy too.
