When it comes to Denmark, everyone knows Christian Eriksen, but far fewer people have heard of the excellent Thomas Delaney. The 26-year-old spent the first nine years of his professional career with FC Copenhagen, so it's not surprising that he's never really found himself in the spotlight.

However, Delaney made a move to German side Werder Bremen last year and has gone on to become a huge player for the club. A defensive midfielder by trade, Delaney has really upped his goal ratio in recent years, scoring 7 goals in 45 appearances for the Bundesliga side, as well as scoring four goals for Denmark in the last twelve months too.

He helped turn a struggling Bremen side into mid-table contenders and has proven to be a real boost for the Danish team as well, forging a nice midfield combination with Christian Eriksen. Strong both defensively and offensively, Delaney is heading into this tournament as one of Denmark's most in-form players and could have a big say in whether or not his nation make it past the group stage.
