After shipping seven goals in his first two games, Younes Kaboul found himself dropped for Sunderland's 1-1 draw with Swansea. The Frenchman was panned for his performances against both Leicester and Norwich, and the 29 year-old is beginning to be looked at as a poor piece of business on Sunderland's behalf.

Kaboul very much became a bit-part player for Tottenham in his last couple of seasons in North London, with many fans actually doubting his Premier League credentials. Should this be the year Sunderland can't quite fight off relegation, fingers will be pointed - especially at player recruitment. Younes Kaboul has one final chance to prove he is a Premier League player, otherwise he may find himself struggling to find another club at the top level in Europe.
