Unfortunately, there will always be people in this world that view that stonewall penalty claim as a dive or that handball in the box as blatant even though no penalty was awarded for it. Football is a game of opinions and they are formed on interpretations but sadly some people's interpretations are horribly wide of the mark. It can happen anywhere, any time, in the pub, on the bus, walking down the street, who knows but when it does happen you can't help but stop what you're doing and listen. Seeing as how the conversation is often between people you don't know it's fairly difficult to correct the glaring errors in the situation but it almost makes you sad to hear some of the terrible lies these people are telling to themselves. As great as football is and the role us fans play in shaping the game, everyone has their opinions and they're entitled to them but your opinions means that when you hear someone else's you have no choice but to listen, analyse and then subsequently judge that person on their opinion. It is a curse we all bare but it is often one of our favourite activities so lets not totally knock it.
