10 Reasons UFC Woman's Champion Ronda Rousey Might Lose Her Belt Within A Year

1. Cyborg Is Looming In The Distance

Holm is in. Talks continue with Gina Carano. However, the biggest threat to Rousey is looming in the distance, and currently working on the cut down to 135lbs: Christiane Justino. The woman they call Cyborg has long been believed to be the biggest threat to Rousey's title. The two have feuded via the media and Twitter, with Cyborg claiming Rousey is running from her, while Rousey fired back that Cyborg is an "it" rather than a woman, due to past steroid abuse. Cyborg pushed for a catchweight fight, and had Tito Ortiz as her manager; when that went nowhere she joined Invicta, Ortiz left as her manager to help pave her way into the UFC (given Dana White's personal dislike for Ortiz, and vice versa, this made sense), and she has now decided, despite once stating that it would be too dangerous, to drop down to bantamweight in order to get a shot at Rousey. She'll need to take a fight at 135lbs first, but rest assured, if she does, fights clean, and wins, Cyborg is still the biggest threat to the dominance of Ronda Rousey in women's MMA.
