10 Reasons Why Andy Murray Can Win Wimbledon 2015

1. Marriage Works

Regardless of whether or not Murray manages to win Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals or any tournament in between, one suspects his greatest achievement in 2015 took place away from the tennis courts.

After a courtship of close to a decade, including a midpoint blip that saw the two briefly separate, Andy Murray and Kim Sears finally tied the knot in his hometown of Dunblane in April.

Married life clearly agrees with Murray, as he made emphatically clear when, on casually dismissing Rafael Nadal in the Madrid Masters final on a surface the Spaniard has bestrode like a colossus for years, he scrawled ‘Marriage works!’ on a camera lens for the benefit of the viewing public.

Murray has lost just one of 21 matches played since officially taking himself off the market, and the next logical step in his relationship with Kim could also prove beneficial to his playing career. Djokovic married long-time girlfriend Jelena Ristic last year and the two celebrated the arrival of their first child in October; the Serb has been close to invincible ever since.

Will Murray be celebrating another Wimbledon triumph a few weeks from now? Have your say in the comments section.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
