10 Relegated Players Who Deserve To Play In Premier League Next Season

8. Ahmed Hegazi (WBA)

West Ham and Wolves have already shown interest in Albion's Ahmed Hegazi, and it's not hard to see why. Just like Jay Rodriguez, the Egyptian was snapped up by the Black Country club last summer and proved to be a smart buy, scoring in his Premier League debut match against Bournemouth and winning a couple of back-to-back Man of the Match awards in his early days.

Standing at 6ft 4, Hegazi clearly has the physical attributes needed to cope in the Premier League and proved his mettle time and time again over the course of the Baggies' doomed campaign. Despite the club finishing bottom of the table, they didn't actually have such a bad defensive record and the Egyptian played a big part in that.

A mainstay in the side, Hegazi started every single one of Albion's matches and showed remarkable discipline and smart timing of his tackles. Despite constantly coming under waves of opposition attacks, Hegazi coped well and only picked up four yellow cards during the season.

He went on to appear with his national team at the World Cup. The African side failed to pick up a single point, capping off a tough twelve months for Hegazi, but he is good enough for the Premier League and could improve plenty of clubs.
