Premier League: 10 Shocking Transfers That Could Happen In January

4. Fernando Torres - Anywhere

Fernando Torres's torrid time at Chelsea could be coming to an end after his manager Jose Mourinho was recently quoted as saying "he lacks skill". €œWhen he has the ball on his feet with the back to the goal, he's not a very skilful player, we know that,€ revealed the Special One in an interview last month. Indeed, Torres has laboured since his £50 million British transfer record move from Liverpool in 2011, scoring just 41 times in 152 games. He managed double that goals tally in 10 fewer games with the Reds, and can largely be considered a failure. Why would it be shocking? As bad as Torres has been recently, it would be a surprise for Chelsea to get rid this month, given the aforementioned Demba Ba situation. The Blues are light on forward options and would be shooting themselves in the foot by selling a striker.
